BASIC WASH LIGHTING

Bastard Amber (Rosco 02 or Gam 365) and light lavender/pink (Lux 63) are good ones to just take the "edge" off the White light. Easy plan of success for beginning lighting people... cool colors from one side (lavender), warm from the other (pink), and a wash of BA across the front.
