MUSICAL NEWSPAPERS

Musical newspapers is a good game... you put newspapers on the floor and when the music stops they have to be on one of the papers, the objective is to get as many people on the newspaper as possible so when you only have one newspaper the whole cast is still in the game and on the one piece of paper. I use the music of the period of the play I am working on to get them into the mood of the piece. Also just moving to music, don't call it dance, is a good exercise.
